Enter or Override an Earning or Deduction Amount

Important: Any changes you make to an earning or deduction amount in RUN Powered by ADP® Mobile Payroll apply to this payroll only. To change an amount permanently, you must do so in the RUN Powered by ADP web application.

Before You Begin: Start or Resume a Payroll

  1. On the Summary screen, select the name of the employee or contractor who has the earning or deduction you need to enter or change.

    The Payroll Entry screen displays all the earnings and deductions set up for the company. Hours and amounts are displayed for earnings and deductions that are already set up for the employee.

  2. Scroll through the list to find the earning or deduction you want.

    Tip: Select Jump to Deductions to move quickly down to the list of Deductions.

  3. Select the field for the earnings or deduction you want.
  4. Enter or change the amount of the earning or deduction.
  5. Repeat this procedure for each employee or contractor who has an override for this payroll.
