What Is a Digital Certificate?

A digital certificate is like an electronic ID card that verifies your identity before giving you access to sensitive information. ADP Internet product users who manage sensitive employee data and employee access rights are required to have a digital certificate to access ADP Internet products.

How Can I Check Whether I Have a Digital Certificate?

To check whether you have a digital certificate issued by ADP, do the following:

1. In Internet Explorer, select Tools > Internet Options.
2. Select the Content tab, and click Certificates.

Any ADP certificates will be listed as issued by Automatic Data Processing, with the expiration date following it.
